Melo does not host, provide, encourage, or endorse piracy or the unauthorized sharing of copyrighted songs and audio media. This application acts strictly as a web client interface designed to connect to your own self-hosted Jellyfin media server or public RSS podcast feeds. You, as the user, are solely responsible and legally liable for all content, music, audio files, and media accessed, streamed, or stored through your server or client instance.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Melo application, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use this application.
2. Description of Service
Melo is a client-side Progressive Web Application (PWA) that allows users to stream audio from their personal, self-hosted Jellyfin servers and listen to podcast RSS feeds. Melo does not provide media libraries, subscription music streams, or hosted audio files.
3. Copyright & Intellectual Property
All trademarks, logos, and brand names are the property of their respective owners. Melo respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. Users must ensure that they have the necessary rights, licenses, or legal permission to stream any audio files stored on their media servers.
4. User Responsibilities & Liability
You agree to use Melo in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You are exclusively liable for any illegal, unauthorized, or infringing content transmitted through your personal server setup. The developers of Melo assume no liability for misuse of the software or copyright violations committed by users.
5. Limitation of Liability
Melo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. In no event shall the creators or contributors of Melo be liable for any damages, legal claims, or data loss resulting from the use or inability to use this application.
